The timeless granny square pattern is popular for a reason. You can use them to make statement pieces like hats, scarves, jackets, or to add a pop of color to your home decor.

If you have a good grasp of how to hold your crochet hook, make chains, and double crochet stitches, you know everything you need to know to get started!

Guided by Melissa from TrebleCat Crochet, you will learn to crochet the granny stitch, how to change colors, and how to join your squares. The final result will be a fall-themed cozy for your coffee mug!

We’ll have yarn, 4mm crochet hooks, and mugs available to use, but you’re more than welcome to bring your own! We’ll be using up to three different colors.
